Labor Minimums

Labor Minimums is what XactPRM uses to calculate the minimum charge that a contractor/trade will allow, to cover for drive-time, setup time, etc. XactPRM will show what the labor minimum for a particular trade is and then adjust that minimum calculation according to the size of repair that needs to be performed. The Labor Minimums can be found in the Estimate tab within a project, in the Estimate Options cog, located in the Added Items section.

The labor minimums are calculated automatically by XactPRM.

To see the labor minimums for a project, click on the Labor Minimums button in the Estimate Options dropdown, located in the Added Items section.

If you click on the Labor Minimums button before any line items are added to the estimate, the Labor Minimums window will open with "No Labor Minimums to Display". As various line items are added to the estimate, then the applicable labor minimums will be added to the list.

The image below shows a pop-up with various applied labor minimums and their calculations.

You can see that the labor minimums (Base Price) for each of the Categories of this sample project are shown. (Note: the base prices for your area and/or project may vary, this is only a sample.) In the image above, the CLN category has met the minimum amount required for the labor minimums and therefore the Adjusted Price is now $0.00. However, FNC, FCC, PNT, DRY, ELE, and PLM have low enough quantities that the labor minimums, in varying degrees for each category, are still in effect.

Apply or not apply the labor minimums *:

By default, the Labor Minimums are not set to apply. To apply the Labor Minimums, check their respective check boxes, and the Adjusted Price(s) will be added to the Estimate Total.

*If you are not able to make changes to a field, the profile owner has locked down that option.
